British Columbia

From August 17th to 22nd I embarked on a road trip driving at total 17 hours from Regina, Saskatchewan to Kelowna, British Columbia.  The main purpose of the trip was to support a teammate of mine, Kurt Hauser who competed in the Olympic Distance Apple Triathlon. In addition to the triathlon, Kelowna also known as ‘Orchard Country’ has so much more to offer adventure seekers and nature lovers such as myself. Visits to the local Farmer’s market, hiking, and cliff diving are just a few of the things to do in this amazing city. With its warm climate, cyclist friendly streets and abundance of fresh locally grown fruit and produce, Kelowna is a gem in the Canadian West.

For this post i’ll be taking a different approach as I have captioned most of the photos in an effort to tell the story of this amazing vacation while you browse through the images.

Enjoy.
